This motion piece is inspired by a trip I took to Japan at the beginning of 2025. The capital of Japan, Tokyo, is widely known for its bright lights, busy city streets and vibrant culture. However, one thing that stood out to me was Tokyo’s quieter residential streets. They had a comforting charm to them that was hard to describe. With the vending machines, small shrines, friendly cats and clean streets this motion piece shows a unique side to Tokyo that is much less talked about.
